VI Limited? Cannot create datacenter for Host and Clusters..??

Im in evaluation.. Installed ESX3.0.2 on 2 Servers/Hardware. My plan is to configure SRA or HA. Installed VC (msde version on my xp workstation). Logged into VIC and I do not see an option to create Host and Clusters or datacenter for my two ESX boxes. There is no arrow right of the Inventory button...and my VIC Gui is missing options that I see in figure 4-1 in the Administration guide! What is the deal? Im I missing something?

Just to clarify, are your ESX hosts using the Licensing server option for licensing versus a host based license? Also when you started the VI client, did you put in the host name of your XP workstation in the server field of the login dialog box?

Do you have an eval license for VC?

Yes. I have installed License Server, and applied the Eval License to my ESX boxes... Thank you.

Thats it! I feel like a moron! I was connecting my VIC to the ESX Hosts, and not to my workstation (where VC and License Server are installed)!

Thanks for your help...
