VCB Mounter running in a Batch File

Hello All,

I hope i am not missing somthing major but using the vcbmounter in a command line to backup a complete image of a VM appears to work fine.

I have been searching for longer than i care to admit and still have not found a solution to run the command in a Batch File.

C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Consolidated Backup Framework\vcbMounter.exe -h backup01 -u vcbuser -p XXXXX -a ipaddr:192.168.xxx.xxx -m nbd -r f:\mnt\sf -t fullvm -M 1

What am I missing?

Thanks in advance

I suggest the usage of VCBBASE environment variable, wich is created by VCB install script. Inside your batch it wolud seems like:

"%VCBBASE%\vcbmounter" <parameters>

The quotes are very important, of course.

I found that also however when I adapt it for my environment and run it from the command line it starts to run.

When I put it in a batch file it errors out. I am missing something simple for sure, but I cannot find it.

Have you tried to put the command in quotes? ""
