VC/Licensing Server Topology

Are there any good guides for this? How do you guys do it?

I am considering taking our current physical VC (version 1) and upgrading that to the license server and VC2 box here in the next couple weeks. Our main production environment is still 2.5.3 but we are going to VI3 shortly.

Really, I want to know what the best practice config for this is. There has to be a white paper or something that I just can't find.

Best Practice is what you are thinking - Do a New VCMS2. add your ESX2 hosts to that, then upgrade them 1 at a time.
