Update Manager best Practices

I have just installed and configured the Update Manager in Virtual Center 2.5 and I was wondering if there are any documentation out there as far as best practices when it comes to patch updates for ESX 3.5 hosts. I will only be using Update manager to patch my ESX 3.5 host machines as all VM's are Windows based machines and we use WSUS to patch them.

I think because UM is still pretty new there aren't a lot of third-party docs out there. The official VMware doc on UM for admins is pretty solid. http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vi3_vum_10_admin_guide.pdf
