Training Documents for ESX4 & VC4?

I've got to give a little training session on ESX4 and Virtual Center4 for some folks who are going to manage their own little ESX4/VC4 environment. Does anyone have any powerpoints or electronic training guides they'd like to share with me?

Or any recommendations other than just going through Virtual Center on the big screen?

Thanks!

It depends on how depth you want to deliver the training to and if its basic day to day operations, I would suggest put your own training modules and delivery it live with powerpoint presentation would be best. Just create several basic modules such as:

1. vSphere 4.0 basic configuration

2. Cluster configurations & host profilings

3. Data Recovery & VMware Update Manager

4. Basic command lines & administration such as esxtop for monitoring

5. Virtual machine creation & provisioning from templates

6. Basic vCenter 4.0 administration & permission

7. Monitor performance and logs with vCenter 4.0

We have our own custom built courses for knowledge transfer but wouldn't be able to share since its copyrighted by the author which cannot be share. If you have vSphere 4.0 coursebook, that is a best way to filter out most effective modules and present it accordingly.

What ever you have mentioned is correct but the thing is that I'm also new to this field, I have implemented the setup but dont have that much knowledge to deliver a traning to queries. The presentation would be basically on management of the VSP4.

So that is why looking for help...????

Hello,

Most if not all 'training materials' out there at the moment are copyrighted so we cannot just hand them over. You may wish to team up with someone who does own the material to present said training, or create your own.... Outside of courses from VMware and two or three other providers there is not much publically available.
