Hi all
I've got a problem in my lastest CP assessment. I installed the collector at the customer site and did the inventory and so on. After two weeks, i still have no data about the storage in the storage summary pane. There are ~210 Server, from whom 90 servers are relevant to the virtualisation project. 30 server are ok, the collector is collecting performance and inventory data. The other 60 servers are failing for unknown reasons and i'll be at the customer site soon, to trouleshoot those issues.
So, the 30 running servers are already visible in the other panes, with user, performance and so on. Why not in the storage pane? That's the core piont, we wan't to gain knowledge about within this particular project.
Thanks for your time and interest.
Regards,
Stefan
Coincidentally.... I'm having the exact same issue with a CP assessment I'm doing. I don't ever recall having to do anything to make this particular set of data show up... it's generally just worked.
Anyone have any idea as to what changed?
Thanks,
Kenny
Same issue for me past two CPs. It's one of the most important metrics except pretty much you have to go through manually in the collector and gather the info on your own. Why doesn't the information show up in the storage summary if it's readily available in the data collector?

Hello,
I've had a case open with the support and they sent me these two solutions to try:
Enabling Full Force Export on the Collector in Capacity Planner
Sadly, it didn't work, but maybe you might try this on your Assessments.

I'm having the same issues with storage for all new CPs with v2.8.........
Never had this issue with older versions of CP.....
Gonna try the points outlined above, hopefully it'll solve my problem.... otherwise I might revert to an older version of CP that works......
Yes, I'd recommend so. We had no success trying those points. But the project got a bit suck and now we don't need those infos anymore, so we never tried an old version.
