Sharepoint Problems on ESX 3.0.1 solved?

In the following URL is following problem described for Sharepoint:

CPU (process "w3wp.exe" from the SharePoint server is very high (almost 100%).

Is this solved for Sharepoint ?

How is running Sharepoint on ESX 3.X in production?

Doubtful it is related to ESX. Not sure how it could be frankly. CPU usage is CPU usage.

On a related note: I'd like to see a list of software that actually does not behave correctly when run in a VM under ESX that is not experiencing any kind of resource contention.
