You can do this with the VI Toolkit using the get-snapshot command.
Not sure what you're getting at. The standard HBA scanning in ESX(i) seems to scan multiple LUNs.
You can do this with the VI Toolkit using the get-snapshot command.
Log onto the Service Console of an ESX host which has access to all the LUNs you are wanting to search and type
find /vmfs/volumes -name delta
This gives a list of the snapshot files which that ESX server can see. A bit of scripting could be done to automate email a regular report.
I have made a Powershell script what you can schedule en rapport for example active snapshots. It's possible to e-mail the HTML output. You can find the script on www.ivobeerens.nl
As suggested I downloaded the VI Toolkit and PowerGUI. Once you have PowerGUI installed with the VM powerpack, the snapshot information is right there.
Thanks to everyone for the assistance.
