SNMP traps for hba path failover and/or failures?

Is there a way to configure SNMP in ESX 3.5 or VirtualCenter 2.5 to generate SNMP traps for hba path failover or failure events? We need to monitor SAN LUN connectivity without installing third party monitoring agenst.

Nope Something I have asked for as well. We ended up extending the SNMP mib to watch the output of esxcfg-mpath -l

Hello,

Matt is correct, there are no traps defined in the current vmware-traps-mib file for hba events.

You would have to write them.
