P2VDR Solution for SQL Database

I cureently have a standalone ESX server and multiple physcial servers. I need to protect one of my physcial servers which is running a Windows 2000 and SQL Server.

I have used vRanger in the past but never the P2VDR feature but was considering this to meet my need.

My only concerns with this is the state of the database following the P2V operation, does vRanger have anything to ensure the state etc or am I better off looking at other solutions (cn you please let me know of any)

What would also be ideal is to have point in time snapshots of the backed up system to protect against any data corruption.

Any help on this would be really appreciated.

vRanger is crash consistent. So it won't ensure the state. But vizioncore does have vReplicator, and that will give you what you want.
