MS Exchange 2007 in a HA/DRS Cluster

Hi all,

let's talk about MS Exchange 2007 in a HA/DRS Cluster ...

How do you plan an installation if you want to guarantee minimum downtime and high availability for about 400 users ?

• do you plan to use LCR, CCR , SCR or SCC Exchange 2007 function ?

• single machine and use HA for the purpose ?

• anything else ... ?

Hi Riccardo,

The company that i work for currently has two mailbox servers and a hub transport server running on ESX3.0.2 over two hosts using Anti-affinity rules to keep the mailboxes separate. licenced for HA/DRS as well. Not one user has any idea that their emails don't sit on a shiny Dell box as such but are just a file.........

Which kind of replication are you using between the two mailbox server ?

Anyone else is using Exchange 2007 ?

Anyone use other solution to have High Availability on the Guest OS and on Exchange DB too ?
