IBM XIV and vSphere - Any Information?

I have just been notified that my company will be purchasing an IBM XIV for our virtualization environment (I won't get in to why, just to say that it is happening). It will be the largest model, being the one with 15 Modules and therefore 79TB usable. I have searched and searched for any information regarding best practices for this device on vSphere or performance results or anything else. The only thing I have found is many users that have tested it and found it to underperform for VMware. I am trying to be positive and just slanting that to the mostly only people with negative things to say will post about their experiences.

So, does anyone have any information regarding the XIV and vSphere? We are coming off a Clariion CX3 lease and I am nervous that the XIV will perform worse so I am trying to do what I can to get it properly setup from scratch. Our connectivity is FC.

Thank you to anyone with information.
