I have a vSphere 4.1 environment with SRM 4.0. I need a script that will get a VM, make a snapshot of that VM and then copy the snapshot to another location, then release the snapshot. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,

Aloha - What's the purpose of copying the snapshot?? That seems a bit odd.
Bill
The Copy -HardDisk command requires that the VM be in a powered off state, so a copying the snapshot would leave the VM in an on state.

Let me rephrase - I don't understand the purpose of what you're wanting to do.
Basically, we want to copy over the page file and temp DB vmdks to the SRM protected site, so that we do not need to replicate them on a constant basis. This way when we execute a test or DR plan, the VMs will boot up and find thier page file and temp db vmdks. Each time a new VM is provisioned in the protected site that needs these vmdks, the script can be run to keep the VMs updated.
