How many Subscriptions licenses?

Hello,

I have two ESX-Hosts with 4 dual core Processors.

I know, I need to purchase 8x Vmware Infrastructure 3 Enterprise for 2 sockets licenses.

Questions:

1. How many Subscriptions licenses for Infrastructure 3 Enterprise should i purchased?

2. How many subscriptions need i for purchasing VC Management Server licenses?

3. What about MS SQL license for VMware VirtualCenter Server 2.5?

1. How many Subscriptions licenses for Infrastructure 3 Enterprise should i purchased?

You need to license based upon physical CPU's, so two quad-dual cores = 8 licences.

2. How many subscriptions need i for purchasing VC Management Server licenses?

You should just need 1 VC license, unless you plan on running more than one VC server.

3. What about MS SQL license for VMware VirtualCenter Server 2.5?

You can get an MS SQL license, or use the freebie that it comes with, although VMWare recommends against this for some reason, but we are using it without any problems.
