Health Check Analyzer Appliance---Where did they hide it?

Does anyone know where they hid the Healtcheck analyzer appliance? We are looking to get the latest version and are having a hard time finding it. We have been all over Partner central and no luck, all we found is the Partner enablement kit so far.

Thanks.

Hmm...The one I was looking for comes as an appliance and is a Linux VM.

Hello Corpsolv, I think you are referring to the same appliance that Duncan Epping is talking about on his blog.

  • VMware Health Analyzer Appliance → A linux appliance that can connect to your VC/ESX and analyze log files. At this point in time it's only available for VMware Employees or Partners with access to Partner Central.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

No i have just checked - Health Analyser 2.1 is an OVF file of 223MB. It is definately there - You may not be able to access it for the reasons identifed earlier - ie be a VAC partner.

I am part of the VAC Program. Where in Partner Central did you find it?

Thanks

I clicked on content and in the search content page i type the word health in the "for" box. The top four files found are all health analyzer documents or OVF files.

Thanks... I must not have access to it because when I search for it, it doesn't come back with any health analyzer info. I wish they would get this Partner Central stuff figured out

Thanks

As of Nov 23, I found it by clicking on "Content" from the top link ribbon then searching for "health".

The search option on the left-hand window of the Partner Central homepage returns nothing for the same search string.

In order to download the latest version of HealthAnalyzer

Login to partner central => Sales tools = > Services software solutions => HealthAnalyzer download

Alanpa link posted above leads to version 3.0.1 which is quite old nowadays.
