HP Storageworks Storage Mirroring software

I was wondering if anyone is using this and how do they have it setup. I have a MSA30 and MSA20 with two ESX 3.5 servers. The MSA20 Will be my near line storage and then backed up to tape.

Would I do a one-to-one and place my targets on the MSA20?

I am wondering if you got any support on your question - I am also using ESX 3.5 with HP AIO600 SAN's and trying to do mirroring/replication from my production SAN to my DR SAN - I am having issues after mirroring - my DR ESX hosts can see the mirrored LUN's but not the VMFS volume on the LUN. I hoping this is just a configuration issue (either in HP's Storage Works software or in ESX) - can anyone guide me in the right direction please?

Rik,

Are your snapped/mirrored LUNs showing up as 'snapped' LUNs inthe VMware ESX logs? If the LUN signatures are the same, the ESX hosts will reject them for mounting and through errors in the logs saying this.

You'll need to enable LUN resignaturing and allow snapshot LUNs.
