sorry. Couldn't resist.

Nothing really out there right now for VI3.x

This was a great book but is a little dated now. http://www.amazon.com/VMware-ESX-Server-Advanced-Technical/dp/0971151067/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=b...

Honestly, setting up and tweaking vmware is the best way to learn in my opinion.

This book is coming out 5/28/08 http://www.amazon.com/Mastering-VMware-Infrastructure-3/dp/0470183136/ref=pd_bbs_sr_4?ie=UTF8&s=book...

There are no 3.5 books out yet. however "VMWare ESX Server in the Enterprise: Planning and Securing Virtualization Servers" written by Ed Haletky (Texiwill) is a good 3.x tome. Also Ron Oglesby, Scott Herrod and Mike Lavericks Replacement book is "Just around the corner"

There are two other books need to be mention and Virtualization Security is good, but by far Advance Technical Guide is the greatest wait for new release. Edward has good book on Security also.
