Does CP can export HW info?

Hello:

May I know how can I export the HW infomation together with CPU,Memory & Disk?

Hello,

From what do you want to get this information, and specifically which information? Are we talking from the Host, from the VM? Is this for ESX, VMware Server, ESXi, or Workstation?

I think he's talking about the vmx file no ?

Alan, if you move a VM, keep it's .vmx file in order to re-register it later with the same HW config.

Sorry for my english was not enough. I am try to using the Capacity Planner to study the consolidation posibility. Now I have add some host into the Data Collector. May I know does I can export the Host's HW information into excel? (E.G. Hostname, IP, CPU,Memory & Disk)

If you want to export your ESX host info into an excel file, you can right click on it in VC, choose "export summary" and select xls format.
