Consolidation Estimator

I have a customer who would like to run the consolidation estimator tool against two separate groups of servers.  One group being production servers and the other group being the database server environment.   They want to see consolidation analysis on both environments separately.

Is there a way to run two separate instances of the data collector?  Do I have to install the data collector on two separate servers (one for each instance)?

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Welceom to the Community - If you are referring to Capacity Planner than the answer is no = you would use a single collector to gather data from both environments - the when generating the report you can select the servers in each seperate group and run two reports -
