Cluster - ESX 3.5 and 3.02 - VMWare Tools

HI,

I"m planning an upgrade for all ESX Hosts from 3.0.2/3.0.1 to 3.5 update1

all the Hosts are part of clusters (fully automation)

each cluster consist of 6 hosts

there will be some time (about 1 week) that in the same cluster I will have bothe 3.02 and 3.5 version

my Q - can I stay with the old vmware tools until all the hosts of that cluster will be 3.5 ? (as there might be cases of vmotion from 3.5 host to 3.0.2)

TIA

having an out of date tools will not be an issue. once you have upgraded your hosts to 3.5 then you can safely upgrade your tools to the latest level.
