Capacity planner fail with Redhat advanced

hey guys

im having some issues with using Capacity planner and Redhat

I only get the amount of RAM and Disk space - everything else is missing.

The errors below show all of the 7 linux servers that are being monitored even though only 3 are having issues - seems that some rpms are missing

Has anyone seen this before?

I have the exact same problems (errors). How did you resolve? My Linux data collections are taking forever to run and spitting out those same errors.

the log actually shows fairly clearly what's wrong. you don't have the "lsdev" and "mii-tool" packages installed on the boxes you are analysing.

these are required in order for capacity planner to obtain all the relevant information.

if you do a search in this same forum for "lsdev" you'll see another user with the same issue and some suggestions for getting the packages.

cheers, wizdude.
