I am installing CP data collector version 2.5

I am able to collect inventory on most of my system by I can't on a few.

I get the following in the message box

Module = vcpSysInv Function = DescAppOSDB.Modify:0 Source = Microsoft JET Database Engine Error = Syntax error in string in query expression 'DAPP_Producer='Symantec' AND DAPP_Name='Symantec pcAnywhere' AND DAPP_Type='App' AND DAPP_DisplayVersion='11.0.1'.(-2147217900:0:5003000)

I can't find anything in the KB

I have tested the connection OK

Any Ideas?

not sure about the answer here, but proceed with caution if part of your troubleshooting involves removing pc anywhere as it's been known to cause BSODs upon removal, especially old versions running on old Compaq (not HP) servers with RILO boards installed.

Not sure what PC Anywhere would have to do with the Invetory.. If its a Service try just stopping it..?

After stopping PCAnywhere inventory still did not complete

I am getting a similar error. Did you ever find a fix?

Error: An unexpected error occured! Module = vcpSysInv Funtion = Inventory Process: Source = vcpInventory Error = Object variable or with block variable not set...

Any suggestions?
