Hi,
I work for a VMware partner. We're not an end user so don't have a support contract. I'm having a problem with CP and don't know how to get support from VMware about it. Is there a CP tech support line / email address?
I've tried searching the VMware Knowledge Base, posting on the Communities forum, emailing Customer Services and the usual Tech Support number (can't get past the automated phone system without a contract number).
Any assistance would very much be appreciated!

If you're a VMware partner then you may be entitled to some free Basic (used to be called Gold) support incidents. We are an Enterprise partner and got a free pack of 5 support incidents. I was able to use one of those for a problem I was having with Capacity Planner and they helped me out. Basic support is 4hr or more response time so I wouldn't use this incidents in an emergency but I think they're perfect for these kinds of problems.
Reach out to your partner rep to see if you have these. I didn't even know I had then until I called for support on Capacity Planner and gave them my company ID (which you can find in Partner Central).

support is a little bit of a grey area for cap planner.
It has also changed now that cap planner is technically free to use.
I recommend you call tech support line and tell them what you are looking for.
there used to be an email address that was on the site, I have not seen it lately, the email address that is.
