Hi
As a relative newcomer to VM ware and virtualization, I am looking for a good book that can give me a good insight into what I need to know.
Can anyone recomend a good book that will cover everything I ought to know about setting up and managing a VM Ware Virtual Enviornment using ESX server 3.01.

Wait a little while for the forthcoming book by Ron Oglesby, Scott Herold and Mike Laverick. They are all forum members and their previous book was very good (albeit without Mike's participation on that occasion).

Any idea on when the book is to be published?
Until this book comes out there is almost enough to fill a book on this website between the admin, install, and compatibility guides, white papers and tech notes.
And don't forget Mike Laverick's excellent website: http://www.rtfm-ed.co.uk - and make sure you visit his ESX pages at http://www.rtfm-ed.co.uk/?cat=3
That would be a shot in the dark. You can buy that one, but I'd count on the one mentioned before by known forum members.
Just a thought, that book does not say VI3, it says ESX Server with no version number. Just double check it isn't about 2.5.x.
