Block level replication between two EMC Celerra NS40's

Hi Guys,

We are looking to perform block level replication between two EMC Celerra NS40's (WAN replication using EMC's Celerra Replicator)

Can anyone confirm if VMFS volume and individual VMDK delta replication is supported between LUN's

Thanks.

Lee

Hi,

AFAIK, it's supported.

I assume this because there's an EMC Celerra Replicator for iSCSI SRA (storage replication adapter) for SRM available.

Hope this helps a bit.

Lee,

Yes, the NS 40 can replicate VMFS volumes with incremental updates. As mentioned above, there is an SRA for Celerra Replicator v2 for Site Recovery Manager to automate the workflow and management of your DR.

There are a number of white papers and documentation here:

I've also consulted my EMC guru friend in San Jose and confirmed its supported due to SRA for Celerra Replicator as mentioned above.
