Best Practices

Hi all,

I've had someone ask me for a 'collective' best practices document or resource. Rather than going to each individual area, they would like high level best practices for VC, ESX, Network, Storage etc in one location. I can pull all that together but was oping someone might be able to point me to a central location and save me some cut and paste time! Again, high level only......

Thanks!

L

Take a look at Eric's (esiebert7625) vmware-land site http://vmware-land.com

He has a lot of ESX best practice documents listed their broken up by category.

Google yields:

Sometimes asking a machine is quicker than asking a human Smiley Happy

(I've read and referenced both of the above documents. There are many other documents much better at killing trees than these two, but these are an excellent starting point. You might also want to try and find a best-practices document for the specific application you're trying to deploy.)

Thanks to you and Eric for the reply - I've been through VMware's docs before and know it's all there but somehow I've missed this site.

All the best,

L
