Dear all
Hi
i have a appear a strange alarm there are 2 lun on my esxi with same capacity (4.09TB) but one of them used space is less than othe lun
now i want to know why appear warning alarm for the lun that has more than free space that the other ?
warning have to appear on DC_Store04 because it has 231GB free space but it appear on DC_Store03 with 806GB why ?
i have attached pic
From the Hosts and Clusters view double click on the datastore with the "alarm" that is triggered. This will take you to the Datastores and Datastore clusters view with the object selected and then select the Alarms tabs to check the Trigerred alarm.

i know the alarm is datastore usage space but i say this datastore (DC_Store03) has more free space than DC_Store04 but alarm is appear for DC_Store03 why ?
BR
Can you confirm that the alarm for both datastores is the same, i.e. no different alarm settings configured?
Also provide the configuration for the alarm settings (some screenshots may do).
André
This will happen when you have configured individual alarms for the datastore with different threshold values.
so thanks
but thresholds for all datastores are same and default i have attached pic from datastore thresholds
repeat my question
2 of my dastoress on vCenter have same capacity (both of them has 4.09TB) one of them (DC_Store03) free space is 948G and the other
DC_Store04 has 227GB free space but now warning (Datastore usage on disk) is appear on DC_Store03 why ?
i am so confused
BR
It seems to me, that the warning is correct. Please check the alarm settings for the datastore that is NOT giving you the warning.
the pic that i have attached is same for all of my datastores for all of them warning threshold is 75% and critical thresholds is 85%
please help me
i am confused

Hi Baber,
Can you check whether Provision space difference between the datastore? Are they equal or different?
Are both the datastores are thick or thin?
Can you check the space from the Storage array and match if they are same with the displayed on the vSphere client
What about webclient? is it showing the same data?
