There is no 3D support available for ESX since the 3D virtualization stack for ESX does not exist. It is however available in hosted products. Optionally, if you really, really need 3D support for a VM, you can try GPU Passthru using VMDirectPath (which requires Intel VT-d or AMD IOMMU capable platforms).
3D is not working, but you can see in the vmware tools instalation, the wyse drivers to use tcx in the thin clients.

But that is not same as rendering at the server side for 3D
Exact, you cannot use vms to render.
