what does paravirtualized mean?

i dont really understand what does it mean

in few words - it's when something that is virtualized is aware that it's virtualized.

That is a good short explanation. In the VMware case this will mean that 99,9% of the code running inside the VMs is not aware it is virtualized and is just running "as usual".

Some code however is aware that it is being runned inside a Virtual Machine and is specifically written and optimized for that reason. Some examples are the VMware paravirtualized device drivers for network cards (VMXNET3) and SCSI controller cards (PVSCSI).
