welcome screen of the ESX 4

Hello folk,

I am to modify welcome screen of the VMware ESX 4 server, i mean the screen that is shown

after when the system is run, to be more clear, the screen we can switch on using Alt-F11 keys.

That is why i have some questions:

1) Does VMware provide a way to modify it ?

2) From which place does the screen come from ?

Thanks for any help.

Looks like there was already a thread on this: http://communities.vmware.com/thread/80017

Yes, i had seen that thread, before i posted my one.

But the only problem is that, it gives no answer on my second question,

that is why i put it up again.

After a bit more digging, i found that it is emitted by the "vmkernel" (/usr/lib/vmware/vmkernel).

i.e. by the VMware microkernel. So, the question still exists... how to modify splash screen.
