web access in ESXi

Hi every one

I am using ESXi5.1 and I need to activate web access service in my host. I found the documentation form VMware and installed vCLI on my own laptop. when I try to run the service in the vCLI interface I get the error "service is not recognized as an internal or external command"

Can anyone help me to run the web access service on my ESXi host please.

thanks and regards

whats the command you are trying to execute?

webaccess should be enabled by default in ESXi 5.1. Try https://<host name or Ip address>. Comparing to ESX 4.1 or prior versions ESXi has limited features in web access.

Has anyone fond a solution to this problem? I have also run into problems accessing the web access.

I have found out that the is a https://<host name or Ip address>/ui but i get "503 Service Unavailable" when I open it.

ESXi 5.x onwards the only option for web access with ESXi is via vCenter using Web Client.
