hello
I have installed ESX and ESXi on bl465c G6 blade servers
and I have an issue
WOL is set as not supported on vcenter (see attached image) but WOL is supported on those servers
ESX and ESXi has installed the broadcom netxtreme II BCM5706s 1000Base-sx driver
those servers can be started when using magic packet utility so wol works
but when I want to put a server in standby from vcenter I have an error
cofirm that ipmi/ilo is configured or configure vcenter to use wake-on-lan standby is stopped
if I configure ilo it works but I want to use wake on lan
there is no way to validate wake on lan on vcenter
wol is set on the bios
can someone help me?
