vsphere HA failover in progress

I have a warning on my cluster

vsphere Ha failoveri n progress. alarm has been on for a few days. any idea why it does not clear?

are you running vCenter5 by any chance? If so, check your alarms.  There are specific alarms to HA.  You may try to disable/enable the alarm to clear the alert.  If you are running vCenter4, then maybe restarting the vCenter Server Service will clear the stuck alarm?

you could clear the alarm by disabling HA on the cluster then enabling it again.

hi

I tried that but it did not work. I am on esxi 4.1 260247. is this a bug?

there are no "triggered" alarms on the cluster that you can acknowledge then reset to green?

i dont have any triggered alarms. that happens very often on this cluster on this version o esxi4.

also vms are reporting

vsphere HA virtual machine failover failed.

I can manually clear the alarm but comes back after a while

yes I am on vcenter 5. enbling and disabling those alarms worked. Thanks
