   I would like to know license model for vsphere.

Whether  i need to buy separate license for vcenter ?

If you buy a standalone license you will need to buy a separated vCenter license, see the comparison between editions: Server Virtualization with VMware vSphere

Depending of your infrastructure size, you may try buy vSphere Essentials Kit that will include the vCenter Server Essentials.
