Is there a way to snapshot an individual disk on a virtual machine remotely? I see that I can snapshot the entire VM, but I need to know if I can snapshot a single disk.
I'm not aware of a command to create a snapshot for only a virtual disk rather than for the whole VM. What you can do - in case this is what you want to achieve - is to configure the VM's other disks as "independent-persistent" which will exclude them from snapshots.
