vsphere 5.5 concurrent maximums

All,

I'm looking for concurrent cloning maximums for vsphere 5.5.  I can't find it in the config maximums pdf.  Something similar to this thread:

Re: number of concurrent clone tasks

But this is for vsphere 4.x...current documentation does not say what the limit is though in my testing it seems that 8 is still the maximum.

PS - check out this documentation -> vSphere 5.5 Documentation Center

It states near the bottom that the "other provisioning operations such as cloning" are limited to 8 per host.

How are you doing the cloning? Via GUI, PowerCLI, or is this being done through the Horizon View admin page? The last time I spun up new Horizon View VMs, I think it broke the initial 40 full clones (from template) that I requested into chunks of 10 at a time.

ok thanks that's what I was looking for.  That detail is not in the 5.5 config maximums pdf.  Thanks a bunch.  I am using vcloud director and "add to my cloud" which is essentially a clone operation inside vcenter.
