Good day.
I cann't connect to vm with vnc client.
Somebody could solve this problem?
Do you have VNC running within the VM or are you trying to proxy the connection through ESXi? Ideally you would have the VM running VNC in which case you might want to check the setup of VNC and ensure that the VM isn't blocking the traffic with a firewall.
If you want to connect via ESXi, then you need to tweak the VNC parameters for the VM. See this thread for the details. http://communities.vmware.com/message/1834338#1834338
I am connect from my work station to vm on esxi without proxy
at vmx added
Remotedisplay.vnc.enabled = true
Remotedisplay.vnc.password = ******
Remotedisplay.vnc.port = 5963
if i connected to isxi 4.1host vnc works
but if esxi 5.0 write this
You'll also need to create a custom firewall rule to allow the traffic through to the ESXi host - http://www.virtuallyghetto.com/2011/07/how-to-create-custom-firewall-rules-in.html.
great
thanks
