vmxnet3 ens192: tx hang

Hi

Following the previous problem that was posted in this post

This time I examined the problem from inside VM (From Console)
After this problem, the machine does not have any ping from the console to the ESXi server and also does not ping the gateway network.
This error is repeated many times

vmxnet3 ens192: tx hang

You are using VMXNET3 nic in your VM? Also updated VMware Tools? https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/76808 looks similar...

This issue is resolved in ESXi 6.5 P04 (ESXi650-201912002).

and now we see

[root@localhost:~] vsish -e get /net/pNics/vmnic0/txqueues/info
tx queues info {
   # active queues:1
   default queue id:0
}
[root@localhost:~] vsish -e get /net/pNics/vmnic1/txqueues/info
tx queues info {
   # active queues:1
   default queue id:0
}
[root@localhost:~] vsish -e ls /net/pNics/vmnic1/txqueues/queues/

I am also seeing this problem with latest ESXi 6.7 version ESXi-6.7.0-20220104001-standard

Going back to 6.5 is not an option, is 6.7 missing the fix from 6.5 ?

I have to bringdown NIC and bring it back up every hour or so

I am observing this issue on ESXi, 6.7.0, 18828794 occasionally. If it occurs ALL VMs loose network capabilities and I have to bringdown the NIC within the ESXi. Originally I suspected a broken NIC/NIC driver.

Additional thing I noticed; this only happens when there is a lot of throughput on the NICs, e.g. Backup or TransferJobs.
Didn't find any solution yet..

I'd like to confirm I've been experiencing the same on my host.

Version 6.7.0 Update 3 (Build 15160138)

Multiple NICS connected to Cisco switch trunk ports - but another nic connect to access and when I switch port groups the problem remains.
