vmware tools esxi 4.0 - windows 2008 sp2 - monitor resolution 720 x 543 pixel ?

is there any chance to change the resolution from 720 x 543 pixel a normal resolution, like 1024 x 768 or higher ?

i could not change the settings. i think i was not a windows problem.

i installed the server installed the vmware tools. restart.

Try looking at the view menu in the VI client. Resolution is not changed in the guest itself. Once you have your Virtual machine installed use other tools to manage it. Use the terminal services client (RDP) to manage the Windows server
