vmware ESXI upgrade 5.5 question

Hi, All,

When i upgrade my ESXi from 5.1 to 5.5. Upgrading is complete.

but I connect to ESXi , it happend that my virtual machine is unknow not accessable.

Virtual machine is win7 64 bit, it can not open.  But others is normal. So if the virtual machine  system is 64 bit, i guess upgrade will have problems?

Anyone happened it? If you are, what do you solve it? Please tell me , thank you.

Can you remove the VM from the inventory (not delete from disk!), and then go to the datastore and right click the .vmx. Then select add to inventory.

thanks your reply, but vmx file is disappear . I know i can use vmx file or vmdk file restory system.

But i just want to know if upgrade to ESXi , maybe it will have this question?
