vmk numbering

Hey guys,

I've built three identical servers from an identical ESXi 5.1 ISO.

On two of them, the physical NIC numbering of 1-4 is reflected in reverse by the OS. For example, port 1 is assigned vmk3, port 2 is vmk2, port 3 is vmk1, and port 4 is vmk0.

Except on one server, where these ports followed the logical order. Port 1 is vmk0, port 2 is vmk1, port 3 is vmk2, port 4 is vmk3.

I'm really not concerned which order things follow, but I do want them to be consistent. I build the network configuration on all servers using the same PowerCLI script since we aren't host profile licensed, and I don't want to have to physically cable these servers differently. Any ideas how this can be addressed?
