vmfs limitation

Hi,

i am trying to install vmware esxi 6.0 on desktop with 2  sata disks (2 TB each ) and the installation dont find the local drives

i already tried using :

AHCI Sata ,SERVER,IDE  - without success

please advice asap

Hi, you the drivers for your local storage controller, if you know what controller you have, you can search for it on the internet and see if you can find the appropriate vib installation package.

Its seems your controller is not supported for vsphere 6.0 can you check VMware hcl

Hi ,

i resolve the problem,

once i change the machine to use RAID instead of AHCI (SATA) THE VMWARE INSTALLAION FOUND THE 2 DISKS

in the first tried (changing the drive to be Raid ) i didnt save the change in the bios

after saving i succeeded to found the drives
