vmdk file corruption and repair?

Getting this error in vCenter when I try to start up a VM.

Power On virtual machine

PubNS

File was not

System

The Vm has one disk file pubns.vmdk in the config, but in the datastore the file was called pubns-flat.vmdk. I tried renaming the file and booting, but got another error saying it wasn't a valid disk file, so I named it back to the -flat.vmdk name. The icon for it doesn't look like the normal vmdk icon as all the others(well other VMs). So is there away to make this flat file a legit disk file? I have attached the last log file. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dcheck disk descriptor file whether it's referring to correct flat disk (..-flat.vmdk)

Disk descriptor is a file also in .vmdk format but without word "flat" in-front of it. :

# Disk DescriptorFile

version=1

encoding="UTF-8"

CID=93082a0a

parentCID=ffffffff

createType="vmfs"

# Extent description

RW 52428800 VMFS "Agip-LDSD-64-flat.vmdk"

# The Disk Data Base

#DDB

ddb.adapterType = "lsilogic"

ddb.geometry.sectors = "63"

ddb.geometry.heads = "255"

ddb.geometry.cylinders = "3263"

ddb.uuid = "60 00 C2 9d ac 8d 9b 9c-fb 5c 35 1f 89 02 8b 4c"

ddb.longContentID = "48f05f73cd6cf6265637849793082a0a"

ddb.virtualHWVersion = "7"

ddb.toolsVersion = "8193"
