vmdk File Naming Conventions

Hello,

I have attached a screenshot of one of the vm. I need to understand the naming conventions of these vmdk's. Snapshot of this vm has been created.

Thanks,

Mihir

By default the .vmdk files have the VM's name. The first virtual disk is named <vmname>.vmdk, the second one <vmname>_1.vmdk, ...

For snapshots a 6-digit number is appended to this name (e.g. <vmname>-000001.vmdk).
