vm-support error occur

Hi Expert

I have a question.

I run vm-support then faital error with follow erro:

Cmd /usr/lib/vmware/vm-support/bin/swfw.sh timed out after 600.002966881 seconds due to lack of progress in last 300 seconds ( 0 bytes read)

I run manual its script. Script run long time. Pronpt not retern.

I using IBM HS23 and IBM customize ESXi 5.1 image.

Could you tell me workround ?

Anyone occuor same problem?

It can happen if there are too many namespaces in the server which are gathered. To workaround, the swfw.sh is called from storage.mfx file under /etc/vmware/vm-suppport

Open the storage.mfx file and increase the timeout from 10 to 100

Else, if you do not want the swfw.sh to be captured, comment the same using "#"
