vm not pingable after a vmotion

after vm was vmotioned, vm lost connectivity. cannot ping.

same vlans are trunk to both esxi hosts so that should not be a problem.

any idea?

It should work.

Are you using standard switches/Port group on each esxi host or dvswitch?

If standard switch, have you added vlan Id in Port group?

Are you sure all required VLANs are trunked on esxi NICs on switch port?

this is esxi 5.1. on dvswitches. yes same vlans are trunks to both hosts.

Can you share affected hosts vlan configuration details?

And imahe of Dvportgroup with vlan id.

Also have you checked guest IP configuration is correct or not?

What is the server make, model?

Is this vlan or host newly created?

Can you confirm if physical switch port (for both hosts) are allowing the traffic for the VLAN of the affected virtual machine ?
