video, graphics hardware acceleration on XenApp 6.5 guest VMs??

We have four XenApp 6.5 VMs running on Win2k8 R2 SP1 all patches etc. with Office 2010 SP1 all patches etc. 10 GB RAM, 80 GB disk, performing just fine except for people with Office 2010 issues for which the commonly prescribed cure is to disable graphics hardware acceleration. 20-some users max per server, usually < 20 per server.

What are the recommended settings for video memory in XenApp guest VMs on VMware ESXi 5.x?? We presently have them using the default of 8 MB, should this be increased??

Should graphics hardware acceleration be turned off within the server per se or only within applications (Office apps, Internet Explorer)??

Thank you, Tom

2 HP DL380 G5 servers and one HP DL 360 G7 server.

No idea what motherboard or graphics, vCenter does not give these details.

Also vCenter is saying the query service is not available or was restarted, please retry, upon trying to updated host sensor data...
