I have a brand new installation of ESXi 4.1 update 1 (VMware-VMvisor-Installer-4.1.0.update1-348481.x86_64). I just installed vCLI (VMware-vSphere-CLI-4.1.0-254719). And if I execute a vicfg-vswitch.pl against the ESX host, it says VLANs are "0" and there is only one connected VNIC. If I run the same command from the Local TSM console, it displays correct.
And I've discovered that if I change something using vicfg-vswitch, *then* it starts reporting it correctly.
Anyone ever seen this behavior?
