vicfg- commands are not found

Hi all, I'm trying to configure SNMP on my host 5.0 but  unfortunately vicfg- commands are not found. may i know how do I enable it?command.JPG

Hi dhanarajramesh,

vicfg-* commands are not a part of ESXi 5.0 installation. You require VMware vSphere CLI (vCLI). This needs to be installed on a client machine running Windows or Linux OS.

You can download this from:

https://my.vmware.com/group/vmware/details?downloadGroup=VCLI50U1&productId=229

Below KB has some examples of how to use the vicfg-snmp commands to configure SNMP on ESXi host.
