Hi all, I'm trying to configure SNMP on my host 5.0 but unfortunately vicfg- commands are not found. may i know how do I enable it?
Hi dhanarajramesh,
vicfg-* commands are not a part of ESXi 5.0 installation. You require VMware vSphere CLI (vCLI). This needs to be installed on a client machine running Windows or Linux OS.
You can download this from:

Below KB has some examples of how to use the vicfg-snmp commands to configure SNMP on ESXi host.

Hope this helps.
