when i am trying to install the vcenetr5.1 i getting an SQL error.

Is this an upgrade or a fresh installation?
Does your current SQL express installation use Dynamic ports? If yes, change it to fixed ...

Ok, better install the different items separately ... Also, check the logs mentioned in previous referenced KB articles.
